Montezooma's Revenge is a steel shuttle roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. It is located in the Fiesta Village section of the park.
Ride history[]
Montezooma's Revenge was first announced in 1977. Construction began shortly after, and was completed in early 1978. Montezooma's Revenge opened to the public on May 21, 1978.
Ride synopsis[]
After the operators clear the train for dispatch, the train accelerates at 55mph out of the station and into the loop, in which the nearby coaster, Jaguar!, runs through. Next, the train goes up the 148-foot hill, before sliding down the hill backwards, as well as the loop. Next, the train accelerates through the station backwards before climbing up the second 112-foot hill, and dropping again and finally reentering the station.

- Montezooma's Revenge is named after a bluegrass group, Montezuma's Revenge, that used to perform daily at the park's wagon camp.
- In 2002, Montezooma's Revenge was repainted teal and yellow, its current color scheme.
- In 2008, Knott's Berry Farm opened Pony Express, a roller coaster with a similar launching mechanism to Montezooma's Revenge.
- The track is approximately 800 feet long.
